The woman of the day is Aurelis Ester Simono Zambrano!!! She was born in the Dominican Republic and is the youngest of 7! Her favorite color is blue. She is married to Manuel Zambrano and had three children, Savannah Amanda & Manuel. She is a grandmother to Spencer! She loves dancing, food, and spreading the love and message of God. When she was younger she was very clever and would convince her friends to help her clean her house so she could go hang out. She would also get in trouble for being too clever some times. Her eldest sister by a few years was also born on this day. In her twenties she came to the United States and met Manuel. After they got married she became a citizen of the United States! She also went to school to be a cosmetologist while raising her three children. After that, she went back to school to become a bilingual aid in the public school system. She loves working with students and is always learning something new. Her stories are always the best and she is usually telling jokes and laughter at parties and get togethers. In my eyes she has always been brave, outgoing, loving, strong, and beautiful. I’m so grateful she is my mother and I hope to be more like her every day.
